[Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]

I just heard an amazing short story on NPR’s This American Life by Etgar Keret about a goldfish, three wishes, and the challenging choices and opportunities we face in life.

Listen to the entire story, “What Of This Goldfish Would You Wish?” by forwarding the episode to 43:08.  (If the audio above doesn’t work, visit the direct link here >)

The other night I saw Girl Talk perform at the Gaillard.  The photo above is a shot from the end of the night (after dozens of rolls of toilet paper, endless amounts of confetti, giant beach balls, balloons, and giant-white-pillowcase-things were shot into the audience).
In addition to the fact that the show was an absolute blast, I am now even more so impressed by all things Girl Talk.  Here are a few additional reasons why:
Gregg Gillis (aka Girl Talk) was formerly a biomedical engineer.
His business model (give the music away, and make money via live performances) turns the traditional music industry on its head.
Girl Talk’s creative ability to pull together a wide genre of music. (For a DNA breakdown of his entire album, All Day, check out this infographic here >)
